Privacy Policy

The short version: the tools are built to work without accounts, and calculator values stay in your browser unless a future feature clearly says otherwise.

Effective August 29, 2026

Information the tools process

Inputs such as names, dates, party counts, or measurements are used in your browser to produce a result. The initial tools do not send those values to a Sort of Useful database, because there is no user database or account system.

Do not enter sensitive information that a tool does not need.

Optional product analytics

The application includes an optional PostHog integration that is disabled unless the site operator provides environment configuration. When enabled, it records events such as which tool was viewed, whether a result was generated, and broad non-sensitive options such as a selected mode.

Calculator values, entered names, birth dates, and object measurements are not included in analytics events. Session recording and automatic click capture are disabled, and the configured client uses in-memory persistence rather than long-lived browser identifiers.

Hosting and technical logs

The site is designed for Vercel hosting. Like most web hosts, Vercel may process technical request information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and requested URLs for delivery, security, and operational logging. Those systems are governed by the provider's terms and privacy practices.

Cookies, advertising, and affiliate links

The initial site does not include advertising, affiliate tracking, or a cookie banner. If advertising or other technologies that require additional consent are added, this policy and the site's consent controls will be updated before they are enabled.

Contact and changes

If you email the configured contact address, the message and your address will be used to respond. This policy may change as the product changes; material updates will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
